Facilities

The Deptt. Of CSE is known for its labs with state-of-the art infrastructure and excellent faculties, making it the showcase of MIET. There are five labs and a net zone which has become a hub for all the MIET students. The labs are backed by excellent networking facilities such as cat-5 cabling and sun Microsystems and HP servers and switches, which have established a practical network for a student to access all the 300 computers housed in the Deptt. The team of P-IV branded systems from HCL, IBM & SAMSUNG has made the laboratories absolutely user friendly. Provision of round-the-clock free net services to all the students and a net zone in the house provides the students non-stop global connectivity. The mixture of projects and seminars have made the course a lively experience for students. A students’ branch of Computer Society of India is underway to provide in future a national platform to the students.
